ESL Program

In the area of language acquisition, the goal of the English as a Second Language
(ESL) Program at Sarabande is to provide students with the opportunity to develop
communication skills in speaking and listening, thereby enabling the students to be
successful within the mainstream of the professional circuit.
The program will assist the students through their cultural adjustment by helping
them develop an understanding of American culture. At the same rime, the students will
be encouraged to share their cultural backgrounds and realize the importance of their
role in a multicultural society.

• Reading and Vocabulary
Junior players at the Mike Bender Academy at Sarabande, who are planning to extend
their studies in the United States, may apply at the Blue Lake Academy.
